Two men injured in Seattle single-car accident

Seattle reports that two men in their 20s were taken to Harborview Medical Center after a Seattle single-car accident in the Greenwood area early Monday morning.

According to the report, the men were riding in a Honda Civic when the driver lost control and ran into a pole on the traffic island on North 105 Street at Holman Road Northwest.

The 25-year-old driver of the Honda may have suffered a broken sternum. His 23-year-old passenger suffered several broken bones in his face and a fractured leg.

Police are investigating whether the driver of the vehicle was driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the accident. If so, he may face charges of Vehicular Assault.
