The Peninsula Daily News reports that Timothy Eric Williams, 38, of Port Angeles has died of internal injuries after being injured in an industrial accident on Friday afternoon at 2:14pm at Evergreen Fibre Incorporated.
According to the report, William suffered life-threatening injuries in an accident involving a conveyor belt. Williams was performing maintenance on the machine when it started.
The Washington Department of Labor & Industries is investigating the cause of the work-place accident. They will determine whether the company had the proper safeguards in place.
