Parkland pedestrian accident attributed to ‘driver inattention’

A 47-year-old Puyallup man was injured in a pedestrian accident on Thursday morning as he walked in a crosswalk on the southbound side of Pacific Avenue in Parkland. The man was taken to St. Clair Hospital in Lakewood with complaints of back and neck pain.

pedestrian.jpgThe man was hit by a Toyota Sequoia drive by a 47-year-old Port Orchard woman.

According to a report in The Bellingham Herald, the accident was attributed to driver inattention. The driver was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian.
