No one seriously injured when speeding truck crashes into parked cars at Vancouver Middle School

A teenage driver, who was apparently speeding, crashed his pickup truck into three other cars today at Shahala Middle School in Vancouver, Washington.

Samuel R. Shimpac, 18, apparently lost control of his speeding truck around 10am at Shalala Middle School on SE 6th and 192nd Avenue. The force of the accident left Shimpac’s Toyota pickup truck up on its front end.

From photos of the accident scene, it appears as if several cars are totaled. Luckily, in spite of all the broken glass and bent steel, no one lost their life in the car accident.

From a report in The Columbian, the injured included Shimpac and Shaleign Mabry, who was sitting in her car with her two sons when the accident occurred.

Police are investigating the motor vehicle accident to determine whether alcohol or drugs were involved.
