The new Emergency facility will be built near Northeast 90th Street and Redmond-Woodinville Road. The facility will have 16 emergency rooms and 36 primary care exam rooms.
According to Evergreen, the new Emergency Department will be staffed with board-certified emergency room physicians, trauma-trained nurses and social workers. They plan to have complete lab services and outpatient diagnostic imaging services including CT, MRI, Ultrasound and X-ray.
The new Emergency Department plans to see patients with urgent medical conditions including chest pain, stroke, and fractures.
Ground breaking for the new Emergency Department begins in May and they project the cost to be $15 million.
