Bellevue woman stopped for DUI driving on wedding day

The Bellevue Reporter reports that a 31-year-old Bellevue woman was stopped by the Washington State Patrol for suspicion of driving under the influence on the morning of her wedding.

According to the article, the bride-to-be was clocked at miles of over 90mph on Interstate 405 near NE Eighth Street in Bellevue.
The woman’s BAC (blood-alcohol-content) was measured at twice the legal limit which 0.08%. She told the trooper that stopper her that she was returning from her bachelor party. It is fortunate that she wasn’t involved in a serious motor vehicle accident that harmed herself or another person.

The woman will be charged in King County District Court.
