Windsurfer injured in Lake Coeur d’Alene boating accident

A windsurfer suffered injuries in a boating accident on Lake Coeur d’Alene around 4PM on Friday afternoon.

The man suffered a deep laceration on his calf when he was sucked under a party boat, The Osprey, and was sucked under the boat and got cut by either the boat’s propeller or engine.

A report by KREM.com says that a gust of wind pushed the windsurfer too close to the boat.
