Explosion at Sedro-Woolley shop sends 2 men to Harborview Medical Center with burn injuries

Two men were critically injured in an explosion at a Sedro-Wooley motor vehicle repair and service shop. The accident occurred late Sunday night. The source of the explosion is reported to be a bottle of methanol fuel. Methanol is commonly used in combination with gasoline or nitrous oxide to fuel cars
According to a report by KOMO News, the accident occurred at Funk Racing at 631 Sunset Park Drive. Funk Racing builds and services race cars.

The two men were airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment of burn injuries.
