Washington State man killed in Alaska dock accident

Edgar Cedillo, 33, of Washington State was killed while he was working on a dock in Juneau, Alaska. The work-related accident occurred around 2:25pm on Friday afternoon at Auke Bay, approximately 15 miles from downtown Juneau.

According to a report on the Juneau Empire, Cedillo got caught between the boat and the dock as he attempted to secure a commercial fishing vessel to the dock.

Cedillo was pronounced dead at the dock; an autopsy will be performed.
