Woman suffers head injuries in Seattle pedestrian accident

A 51-year-old woman suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian accident as she was crossing a Seattle street.

According to the report in The Seattle Times, the woman was crossing East Jefferson street across from the Jefferson Tower medical building when a car hit her.

The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center and the report said she suffered serious head injuries and possibly internal injuries.
