4-year-old girl dies in semi-tractor trailer accident

The Spokesman-Review reports that Julie Wilson, age 4, of Kootenai County was killed in a semi-tractor trailer accident on Sunday around 6pm near Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

According to the article, Julie had climbed on the back of her father’s semi-tractor without his knowledge and fell and became wedged between the tires and the mud flap . Her father, Steven Wilson, discovered her after he had driven a short distance.

Julie apparently died of massive head trauma.
