Woman injured in Snohomish hit-and-run pedestrian accident

A woman was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident around 6:30 am in Snohomish on Friday morning. The woman was treated for head lacerations at a local hospital and then released.

According an article in the Everett HeraldNet.com, the woman was hit in the 1100 block of Pine Avenue. Witnesses saw a 1970s white Chevrolet pickup with red trim leave the accident scene.

Anyone with information about the vehicle, the driver or the truck’s passenger are asked to call Snohomish Police at 360-568-0888.

Washington State Vehicle code RCW 46.52.020 provides that it is the duty of any motorist involved in an accident which results in the injury or death of a person to remain at the accident. Failure to do so is a Class B felony.
