Olympia man seriously injured in two-car accident near Cosmopolis

A 29-year-old Olympia man, Jonathan R. Burchanan, was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after suffering facial and internal injuries in a two-car accident near Cosmopolis on Thursday.

According to a report in The Daily World of Aberdeen, Burchanan crossed the center line on U.S. Highway 101 a little after 6pm on Thursday evening and struck a southbound car driven by Laura L. Rogers, 43 of Raymond.

Raymond was taken to Grays Harbor Community Hospital with chest and back injuries.

Two passengers in Buchanan’s car, 19-year-old Steven M. Wilder and 41-year-old Diann L. Hiebert, both of Tacoma, suffered bruising and sore muscles, according to the report.
