Man run over by heavy machinery in Maple Valley construction accident

A man was suffered serious injuries in an industrial accident at a gravel mine near Maple Valley on Monday morning reports Kris Hill writing for the Covington Reporter News.

Deputy Chief Matt Cowan said that the suffered “significant” but not “life threatening” injuries to his legs. The accident victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The construction accident occurred around 10:41 am when a man was run over by a heavy piece of construction equipment called a front end loader.
