Toppenish man dies after Yakima car accident

The Yakima Herald.com reports that Rogelio Soli, 65 of Toppenish, died of car accident injuries he sustained on Friday afternoon.

According to the report, the car accident happened when Solis went through an intersection on Branch Road without stopping at the intersection of Lateral A Road and his vehicle was hit by a Ford driven by Darrell Lamberton, 63 of Toppenish. Solis was taken to Yakima Regional Medical Center where he died approximately 12 hours later.

Darrell Lamberton, and his passenger, Ann Lamberton, 64, were both injured in the accident. Ann Lamberton was treated and has been released, Darryl Lamberton was reported to be in good condition.

The Washington state patrol do not believe alcohol or drugs were involved.
