Pedestrian killed on Seattle Ship Canal Bridge

A 29-year-old man who was walking and acting strangely on southbound Interstate 5 on the Ship Canal Bridge in Seattle was struck by at least three vehicles and killed early Tuesday morning.

According to a Washington State Patrol media release, the WSP had received numerous calls of a pedestrian “acting aggressively” towards vehicles. Before the patrol could arrive, the man was hit and killed.

It is not known what caused the man to act so strangely or whether he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
