Sammamish woman killed, Seattle man injured in Oregon car accident

Jenna Lee Ulrich, 22, of Sammamish, was killed and Thomas Stroppel, 26, of Seattle was injured in a car accident near Huntington, Oregon on Saturday reports the Sammamish Reporter.

According to the article, Ulrich, who was a senior at University of Washington, lost control of her vehicle on Interstate 84 near milepost 339 and was hit by a commercial truck. Ulrich was killed at the accident scene.

Police believe icy road conditions may have been a factor in the car accident.
