Construction worker injured when crane rolls over near Chehalis

Seattle's KING5.com reports that a crane operator was injured and taken to the hospital after the crane he was operating toppled, trapping him inside the cab.

The construction accident occurred near Chehalis, Washington just off of the Interstate 5 on Tuesday. Chehalis is a town about 60 miles south of Tacoma. The 40-ton crane went apparently went onto a soft shoulder which resulted in the crane toppling.

The crane operator's injuries were not disclosed but he was lucid enough to call 9-1-1 from his cab and he told the 9-1-1 operators that he was in a lot of pain.
